Could A Blender Possibly Be Worth $400??

 

The Blendtec blender.  Labeled a super blender by most.  But is it all that it is cracked up to be?  Almost every review says yes, it is an amazing blender.  The biggest question is the price tag.  Is this blender really worth $400?

 

If you are looking for “blender only” functionality, $400 is a little steep, but the Blendtec blender can replace 8 kitchen appliances by doing everything they can do, and doing it better.

 

Below is a list of 8 appliances with an average price range that can all be replaced by the Blendtec blender:

According to the price ranges above, you can buy a low-end appliance in each category and come out about $221 ahead; just a little over half the price of the Blendtec.  But, keep in mind durability, warranty, and quality of results.  You usually get what you pay for.  Even with the least expensive items, you’re already half way to a Blendtec that is durable, (“Will it Blend?”), has a 7-year warranty, and delivers consistent and close to perfect results no matter what you use it for.  The least expensive appliances will most likely need to be replaced several times before the Blendtec will need replacing.  So that $179 will end up multiplied and probably not save any money in the long run.
