A cool and refreshing beverage for a warm day. The lime offers a tart touch to accompany the sweet berries.

FourSide Jar

1 C water
2 limes, peeled
3 Tbsp agave nectar
2 C frozen strawberries

INSTRUCTIONS

Add ingredients to jar in order listed and secure lid. Select “Whole Juice” and serve.

VARIATIONS

For a Cherry Lime Slush, follow the instructions above except decrease agave nectar to 2 tablespoons, add 2 cups frozen dark sweet cherries in place of frozen strawberries and add 1/2 cup ice cubes to jar. Select “Whole Juice” and serve.

It’s Super Bowl time and what better way to enjoy it than with a bunch of buddies?  If you are hosting the big game gathering this year, give this cheese ball a try on the table.  Not only is it a tasty addition to your refreshments, it is super easy to make with your Blendtec blender.

 

Spicy Cheese Ball

  • 1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened (may substitute nonfat or light)
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 Tbsp. lemon juice
  • Dash salt
  • Dash Tabasco sauce
  • 1/4 tsp. onion powder
  • 2 green chilies
  • 1/2 jalapeno pepper
  • 2 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 cup nuts and pecans, chopped (to roll the ball in)

Place ingredients, except nuts, in blender jar in order listed. Secure lid on top. Press button#2 (cycle 10). When cycle finishes, use a spatula to scrape sides of jar if not completely blended. Replace lid and press the Pulse (P) button until fully blended and smooth. Refrigerate until firm. Form into a ball and roll in the chopped nuts.

  • 1 cups of grapes
  • 3-4 strawberries, stems included
  • 1-2 pieces of watermelon (seeds included)
  • 1-2 pieces of cantaloupe (seeds included)
  • 2 pieces of pineapple (core included)
  • 1/3-1/2 piece of banana
  • 1 cup of ice
Place ingredients in blender jar in order listed above. Secure lid on top and press Ice Crush/Milkshake on the Total Blender touchpad or button #1 on older Blendtec blenders.

As you find yourself in the midst of the holiday season with all the parties, entertaining and get-togethers, here is an easy way to make an old holiday classic from recipebook.com.  Here’s just another reason why your Blendtec Blender is one of your best friends!

Easy Blender Holiday Eggnog

6 eggs
3/4 cup sugar
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
4 cups of milk

Dash of powdered nutmeg

Blender method: Blend eggs, sugar, salt with 1 cup milk until light and smooth.
Add mixture to rest of milk and stir.

Tip: Can be made into eggnog ice cubes too if desired or a ring mold.

Here’s a great appetizer idea from Blendtec for your Thanksgiving Dinner this year.   Since it’s made in your Blendtec Blender, you know that it will be fast and easy!

 Spinach Dip

  • 1 cup nonfat sour cream or yogurt
  • 1 cup nonfat mayonnaise
  • 1/2 cup frozen spinach, thawed and well drained
  • 1 package Knorr dry vegetable soup mix

Place ingredients in blender jar in order listed above. Secure lid and press button #4.

Serve with crackers or vegetables.
